Humanitarian Convoy Arrives in Syria’s Sweida

(MENAFN) A humanitarian convoy led by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) reached Sweida city, the provincial capital, on Wednesday, providing critical relief materials to civilians impacted by ongoing conflict, reported a state news outlet.

The convoy entered Sweida through a designated humanitarian corridor located at Busra al-Sham in Daraa’s eastern countryside, the report detailed.

The delivery comprised 66 tonnes of flour, 4,000 food baskets, 10,000 bottles of drinking water, along with fuel tankers aimed at aiding displaced populations and communities facing shortages due to recent clashes between Druze fighters and Bedouin tribes.

This shipment marks the second wave of humanitarian aid to arrive in Sweida within days, reflecting intensified efforts by aid groups to meet the urgent needs of those displaced by the violence.
