Netanyahu Diagnosed With Intestinal Inflammation After Food Poisoning

(MENAFN- Khaama Press) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is recovering from food poisoning and will carry out his official duties from home for the next three days.

The office of the Israeli Prime Minister announced that Benjamin Netanyahu has been diagnosed with food poisoning and is currently recuperating. Over the next 72 hours, he will continue his duties remotely from home while receiving medical care.

Officials say Netanyahu's condition is steadily improving. He is under medical supervision and being treated for dehydration and intestinal inflammation. Intravenous fluids are being administered to aid his recovery.

At 75 years old, Netanyahu has faced several health issues in recent years. Despite his current condition, there are no reports suggesting a severe or long-term impact on his overall health.

In 2023, the Prime Minister was fitted with a pacemaker due to heart rhythm concerns. His medical team has closely monitored him ever since, particularly during periods of illness or fatigue.

More recently, in December, Netanyahu underwent prostate surgery following a urinary tract infection diagnosis. Despite these setbacks, he has continued to fulfill his governmental responsibilities.

Netanyahu's recent health troubles have reignited public discussions around leadership continuity and medical transparency among top officials in Israel.
