GCC Chief Discusses Joint Action Plan With Azerbaijani Amb. To Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, July 15 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Al-Budaiwi discussed Tuesday progress of implementing the 2024-2028 Joint Action Plan between the GCC and Azerbaijan with the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Shahin Abdullayev.
The General Secretariat mentioned in a statement that this was in a meeting between the two at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh.
They talked of the Joint Action Plan, adopted in November 2023, which aims to elevate prospects for cooperation and relations in areas of common interest, such as political coordination, trade cooperation, investment opportunities, and energy, in addition to many other topics.
The two also examined latest regional and international developments. (end)
