Shalimar Sharbatly, wife of Khaled Youssef, reveals the truth about the “North Coast Dispute”.

(MENAFN- Global Advertising) Renowned artist Shalimar Sharbatly, wife of Egyptian director Khaled Youssef, has responded to circulating reports on social media claiming she was involved in a dispute on Egypt’s North Coast.
In an official statement published on her Facebook account, Sharbatly firmly denied the incident ever occurred, stating that neither she nor her husband, director Khaled Youssef, had any connection to the details being spread. “Such an incident could not have happened in a country governed by the rule of law,” she wrote.
She continued: “We live in a state of law, not a jungle. If a real incident had occurred, legal action would have been taken immediately against the other party.”
Sharbatly further revealed that the person behind these allegations is “an elderly actress nearing seventy years of age, who has failed to learn from life’s ups and downs or from the exposure of her true character.” She added, “These lies reflect deep-seated malice and a relentless effort on her part to fabricate stories and spread them through certain platforms in an attempt to disrupt my life and that of my family – a futile attempt, as my life with my husband, daughter, and loved ones remains happy and stable, unaffected by distorted fantasies.”
She also warned that legal measures will be taken against those who help spread such rumors without relying on credible sources, stating: “With God’s will, the identity of this woman will soon be revealed through evidence and documents.” Sharbatly expressed no surprise at this actress’s repeated attempts to orchestrate deceptions and publish false stories, desperately seeking platforms to carry them.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Mazhar Shaheen accused the unnamed actress of persistently waging a smear campaign against internationally acclaimed artist Shalimar Sharbatly. He described the actress as suffering from what he termed “Shalimarophobia” — a psychological affliction that affects those unable to bear the sight of elegance, success, and grace embodied in a successful woman.
Speaking to the press, Shaheen said that this actress, whose fame faded years ago, has resorted to using social media and fake accounts to attack Sharbatly and her friends. “She is an old actress worn down by failure and consumed by envy. She has found no place for herself in the present other than through lies and the invention of absurd stories that not even their creator believes,” he said.
Shaheen added that this woman even turned against those who once supported her, lashing out at benefactors while hiding behind shaky comments and writings that collapse under the light of truth. He emphasized that the only proper response to these fabrications is through the legal system: “The law will hold every offender accountable.”
He concluded by saying, “Dignity cannot be taken by force. Status cannot be bought. Success cannot be undermined by lies. And history does not favor those who choose a miserable end for themselves.”
