KFF Partakes In ICDO Meetings In Azerbaijan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) took part on Thursday in the 58th meeting of International Civil Defense Organization's (ICDO) Executive Council and the third extraordinary session of the organization being hosted in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku.
The meetings discussed means of boosting international coordination, sharing expertise in civil defense and responding to emergency, along the best practices and experiments in facing crises and disasters.
On the sidelines of the session, Kuwait's delegation held a meeting with Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov and discussed means of enhancing bilateral collaboration in all crisis management in a way that contributes to bolstering ties.
The Kuwaiti delegation was led by KFF acting vice president for financial and administrative affairs Brig. Gen. Mohammad Shamsan and Kuwait's national communication officer in ICDO Major Abdullah Mohammad. (end)
