Zelensky: Ukraine And US Working Out Details Of Defense Support

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky during his address, as reported by Ukrinform with reference to his Telegram channel.

“Today, there were reports from the ministers of defense and foreign affairs of Ukraine. In particular, on relations with the United States of America. Currently, at the working level, Ukraine and the United States are clarifying all the details regarding the supply of defense support, including air defense components. One way or another, we must ensure the protection of our people,” he said.

Zelensky also reported that today there was a discussion of further steps in relations with the European Union, which is chaired by Denmark this semester.

“Today, there was a meeting with our government officials and the Office team-we are also preparing new agreements with Denmark and other partners on weapons production, joint production, and we are preparing news about our interceptor drones,” he said.

The head of state added that he also spoke with the president of Egypt. According to him, they discussed bilateral relations and the approaching end of the war.

“Egypt is ready to help. We agreed to intensify the work of the Ukraine-Egypt intergovernmental commission,” the president said.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine requested a telephone conversation with colleagues from the United States to further clarify the details of defense supplies.
