2-Year-Old Girl Drowns In Pond In Ghazni

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A two-year-old girl has died after falling into a pond in the Khogyani district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident occurred on Tuesday in Khasha village of Khogyani district.
He said the child had fallen into a water reservoir near her home and drowned.
Similar incidents have been reported in various provinces in the past.
