Poland Scrambles Jets Amid Russian Missile Raid Against Ukraine
“In connection with the attack by the Russian Federation, which is targeting at facilities on the territory of Ukraine, Polish and allied aviation operated in Polish airspace this morning,” the statement says.

When repelling a massive Russian missile and drone attack, a Ukrainian F-16 aircraft was damaged, and a pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Ustimenko, was killed.
