Prince Faisal Tank Battalion Conducts Decisive Response Drill Using Simulation Systems

Amman, June 24 (Petra) – The 17th Prince Faisal Tank Battalion, affiliated with the 2nd Martyr Wasfi al-Tal Mechanized Brigade of the Eastern Military Region, conducted a sector-free military exercise titled "Decisive Response" on Tuesday at the Simulation Center, in the presence of the Inspector General of the Jordan Armed Forces and the region's commanding officer.
Commanders overseeing the exercise delivered briefings outlining the exercise's objectives, progress, and the characteristics of the operational environment, including scenarios simulating both conventional and asymmetric threats.
Utilizing advanced simulation systems, the drill aimed to assess the battalion's operational readiness, decision-making processes, and responsiveness to potential threats. It also evaluated administrative functions and provided training for commanders and staff on planning and command procedures.
The exercise forms part of the Jordan Armed Forces' ongoing training agenda, designed to enhance the competence, preparedness, and operational capabilities of its units in anticipation of evolving security challenges.
