Erdogan Warns of Migration Over Iran, Israel Conflict

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cautioned on Friday that the escalation of aggression initiated by Israel’s assaults may have detrimental repercussions for both the region and Europe, especially in the context of migration flows and the potential risk of radioactive contamination.

During a phone conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Erdogan stressed that conflicts surrounding Iran’s nuclear program should be addressed through "talks."

He emphasized that Israel’s recent offensive has significantly increased dangers to the "regional security" environment, as conveyed by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate.

Additionally, the discussion between the two leaders covered "bilateral relations" and broader regional developments, the directorate reported.
