No Signs Of Radioactive Contamination Following US Attack - Iran

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Iran's National Centre for the Nuclear Safety System affirmed that "no signs of contamination" were detected following the US attack on nuclear sites in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan early Sunday morning.
According to Iran's Mehr News Agency, the center said that based on the data recorded by radiation detection systems, no signs of contamination have been detected, and that residents living near these facilities are not at any risk.
The center added that it immediately conducted the necessary investigations into the possible release of nuclear contamination around these sites.
This statement comes just hours after US President Donald Trump announced that US forces had carried out a "very successful attack" on three nuclear sites in Iran, targeting the Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan facilities.
