Israel Kills Senior IRGC Intelligence Figures
(MENAFN) Three prominent leaders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence branch lost their lives in an Israeli aerial assault, as reported by an Iranian news outlet on Sunday evening, in the midst of intensifying hostilities between the two nations.
A declaration from the IRGC named the deceased officials as Gen. Mohammad Kazemi, the chief of the IRGC Intelligence Organization; Gen. Hassan Mohaqeq, the deputy head of IRGC intelligence; and Gen. Mohsen Bagheri, a top intelligence officer.
On Friday, Israel conducted synchronized air raids on several Iranian locations, targeting military zones and nuclear infrastructure.
These strikes triggered Tehran to respond with retaliatory offensives, leading to a cycle of ongoing confrontations.
Israeli officials stated that "at least 13 people were killed and more than 370 others injured" during Iran’s missile retaliation.
At the same time, figures from the Iranian Health Ministry revealed that "at least 128 people were killed and 900 others injured" as a result of Israeli bombardments starting Friday.
