Thai PM Announces Plan to Fully Evacuate Citizens from Israel

(MENAFN) Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra announced on Tuesday that the nation is fully equipped to evacuate its citizens from Israel as tensions escalate between Iran and Israel.

Addressing the media after a cabinet meeting, Paetongtarn revealed that the Thai Air Force has aircraft ready for immediate deployment, while relevant government bodies have synchronized contingency plans to ensure rapid response if evacuation becomes necessary.

She also highlighted the creation of a labor assistance center designed to act as a centralized information and registration point for Thai nationals seeking to return home.

Government figures indicate that approximately 40,000 Thai workers are currently residing in Israel.
