(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, will pay an official visit to Austria on Monday, June 16, during which he will hold talks with the country's leadership.

Austria's Federal Chancellery told this to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"On Monday, June 16, 2025, Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen and Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who will be arriving in Vienna with First Lady Olena Zelenska on an official visit," the Chancellery said.

Zelensky will be welcomed with military honors in front of the Federal President's office at Ballhausplatz square. After bilateral talks between the two presidents, a joint press conference by Zelensky and Van der Bellen is scheduled.

Later, Zelensky will meet with Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker and representatives of the Austrian business community at the nearby Chancellery building.

Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger recently proposed an initiative aimed at achieving an unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine and increasing pressure on Russia to compel it to engage in negotiations for a lasting and just peace.
