FM, Turkish Counterpart Discuss Efforts Of De-Escalation In Middle East
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, June 13 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the repercussions of the aggression against Iran and efforts to de-escalate the situation in the region.
In a phone on Friday, the two ministers denounced the aggression and warned of its consequences. But only a portion of it is global, and any solution will simply serve to intensify the problem and regional conflict.
Safadi also discussed the significance of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference, which Turkey will host on June 21, 2025, in developing an Islamic stance against Israeli aggression, which jeopardizes regional security and stability. Safadi stressed the necessity of strong solidarity to prevent escalation.
