GCC Chief Meets UK Nat'l Security Advisor On Gaza

LONDON, June 12 (KUNA) -- Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jassem Al-Budaiwi met on Thursday with UK National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell on several regional and international issues, mainly the tragic situation in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting, held in London, both sides discussed bilateral relations between the GCC and the UK, covering various strategic areas, the GCC Secretariat General said in a press release.
They also tackled the latest regional and international developments, primarily the situation in Gaza, it added.
The GCC chief underlined the significance of promoting and bolstering efforts aiming tat stopping the serious Israeli occupation attacks against innocent people in the enclave, it noted. (end)
