Minister Of State For Foreign Trade Affairs Meets Turkish Minister Of Treasury And Finance

Doha, Qatar: Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, H E Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, met with H E Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye, on the sidelines of Qatar Economic Forum 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of common interest aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, as well as ways to support and develop mutual relations.

They also exchanged views on key issues featured on the forum's agenda. In a related context, the Minister held a meeting with a delegation of business leaders from the US State of Oklahoma, headed by H E Deborah Moorad Watts, the Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce.

The meeting explored opportunities for trade and investment cooperation between the State of Qatar and the State of Oklahoma, and reviewed areas of shared interest. Discussions also reviewed measures to encourage public-private partnerships on both sides.
