Amir, President Of Republic Of Benin Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received at the Amiri Diwan on Monday, May 19, 2025, His Excellency Patrice Talon, President of the Republic of Benin.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop and grow them in various fields. They also discussed the most prominent developments in the regional and international arenas of common interest.

The meeting was attended by HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From the Republic of Benin, the meeting was attended by HE Olushegun Adjadi Bakari, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H E Romuald Wadagni, Minister of Economy and Finance; and a number of senior officials and members of the delegation accompanying the President.

The Amir and the President of Benin held a bilateral meeting during which they exchanged views and opinions on a number of issues of interest to both sides.
