Russian Forces Launch Over 400 Strikes On Zaporizhzhia Region Over Past Day

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian forces carried out 402 strikes on 12 settlements in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region on May 15.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram , according to Ukrinform.

"Russian troops launched 23 airstrikes on Novoiakovlivka, Zaliznychne, Mali Shcherbaky, Chervone, and Temyrivka. As many as 221 drones of various types targeted Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Three MLRS attacks also hit Kamianske. In addition, 155 artillery strikes were recorded across Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka," he wrote.

Six reports were received about damage to apartments, homes, and outbuildings. No civilian casualties have been reported.

On May 15, Russian forces shelled Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region with artillery, destroying several houses.
