Kuwait Honors Winners Of Quran Awards' Competition


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 22 (KUNA) -- The Secretariat of Kuwait's Ministry of Islamic Affairs honored on Tuesday the winners of the awards' award of the holy Quran recitation competition held in cooperation with Al-Yarmouk cooperative and humanitarian excellence societies.
Speaking to KUNA, acting secretary general of the secretariat Nasser Al-Hamad said such a contest is a firm step toward reciting and glorifying the holy Quran as well as boosting faith of the generation through the support of more than 50 governmental and national bodies to Quartic projects.
The competition included all ages and the secretariat will continue supporting such competitions, he noted.
It is the first competition held in Kuwait in its kind as it included those who won local and Ramadan contests of all nationalities inside Kuwait for 2024, he stated. (end)
