Educators report positive reading outcomes associated with the program, including:

Increased reading scores
Stronger connections with students
Enhanced ability for students to read grade-level text and complex material
Innovative teachers use the Great Reading Games to enhance their teaching capacity and expand their class and school libraries with accessible books. Additionally, many school literacy leaders have implemented schoolwide reading initiatives to create a culture of strong, engaged readers.
Jennifer Huff, Learning Ally's Director of State Contracts Success, said, "The Great Reading Games continue to be a powerful catalyst for student engagement and reading growth. As we've seen year after year, this competition not only motivates struggling readers to embrace literacy, but it also fosters a sense of community and achievement. By leveraging Learning Ally's extensive library of human-read audiobooks, we empower students to overcome barriers and discover the rich tapestry of stories and knowledge within books, ultimately paving the way for their academic success."
