Speaking to the media at Peshawar Railway Station, Federal Minister Amir Muqam vowed that terrorist attempts to disrupt national connectivity would not succeed. He stated that efforts to hinder Balochistan's progress had failed and reaffirmed that the Prime Minister and Army Chief were committed to ensuring national security.
Muqam welcomed the resumption of Jaffar Express but criticized the provincial leadership, stating that those ruling the province for 12 years were more focused on political battles in Islamabad than on development initiatives.
He further remarked that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had always stood resilient against terrorism and emphasized that it was time to prioritize peace and stability beyond political differences. Commenting on Afghan refugees, Muqam reiterated that those residing illegally would be repatriated under government policy.
