
Sheikh Hamdan Announces Dh277 Million Performance Bonus For Dubai Government Civil Servants
Civilian employees of the Dubai Government will get a performance bonus, the emirate's Crown Prince announced on Friday, March 21.
In a tweet, Sheikh Hamdan said that a bonus of Dh277 million has been approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The leader appreciated the efforts of civilian employees and said, "your dedication and commitment have been key to Dubai's success, constantly raising excellence in government service."

He added: "We are confident that with your efforts, Dubai will continue to rise on the global stage."
This isn't the first time such a large bonus amount has been approved for those working in the government. In 2023, a Dh152-million bonus was for civilian government employees.
Bonuses expected in 2025A survey released last month said that around 75 per cent of UAE residents expect to get a bonus in 2025.
This came after employees operating in high-growth sectors such as technology, banking, healthcare, and consultancy were offered some of the highest bonuses in 2024, with payouts reaching up to six months' salary in specific roles.
