Former Temasek Executives Launch Strategic Consulting Firm In SG

SINGAPORE - Former Temasek executives Lee Ooi Keong and Karen Yap, have launched Clover Point Consultants (CPC), an independent board advisory and strategic consulting firm, to support growing companies' needs in bridging the gap between corporate strategy and market expectations.
Lee brings over three decades of experience as a corporate leader and Board director, including the last 16 years as a Director of Risk Management in Temasek, heading the enterprise, strategic portfolio and investment risk teams.
Lee's partner in this new venture, Karen Yap, is an accomplished professional who brings two decades in stakeholder management, specialising in crisis management, with a track record of working with Temasek and global marketing communications agencies leading corporate, financial communications and crisis communications practices. She is an accredited Board director and part of the Singapore Red Cross Fundraising Committee.
CPC supports public-listed and private companies, including family offices and startups, in unlocking their full market potential amid today's challenging business landscape, it said. It highlighted a recent study by The Edge Singapore that revealed that only 56% of Singapore-listed companies are profitable, with only 12% meeting institutional investors' criteria for investability.
