Health Min. Briefed On Medical Readiness For Remain Days Of Ramadan

KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi held a meeting on Thursday with the relevant medical teams to discuss and approve the necessary preparations and arrangements in mosques during the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan.
A statement by the Ministry of Health said that this comes within the framework of the Ministry's commitment to ensuring worshippers' health and safety during the holy month of Ramadan and confirms its ongoing efforts since the beginning of this blessed month.
The statement noted that during the meeting, the Minister listened to a detailed explanation from the specialized medical teams about the approved medical emergency plan.
The plan aims to enhance medical preparedness and ensure the provision of services with the highest standards of quality and efficiency, ensuring a rapid response to emergency health cases.
The statement added that ongoing cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs was emphasized in identifying mosques with high density, in addition to coordination with the Ministry of Interior to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate the arrival of ambulances to the required locations as quickly as possible when needed.
