Amman: Jordan stressed Thursday the need to immediately consolidate and implement the three phases of the Gaza ceasefire deal.

This came in phone calls by Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi with his counterparts from Algeria, Egypt, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Austria.

Safadi stressed the need for the international community to take immediate and effective action to compel the Israeli entity to halt its aggression, reopen the crossings, and allow humanitarian aid to enter all parts of the Gaza Strip.

Warning of the disastrous consequences of the Israeli entity resuming its aggression on Gaza and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip, he emphasized the need to implement an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

The ceasefire agreement was reached in Doha through joint efforts by the State of Qatar, Egypt, and the US. It took effect on January 19, yet since then, the Israeli occupation forces have been violating the deal.
