Min Of Social Affairs Praises Kuwaiti Women Contributions

NEW YORK, Mar 14 (KUNA) -- Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah reaffirmed on Friday that Kuwaiti women have made fundamental progress across various sectors, demonstrating a positive contribution to the country's development.
Al-Huwailah made this statement during her participation in the the 69th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women at the UN General Assembly Hall in New York.
Women's empowerment enhances their role in Political decision-making, reflecting the success of women in various positions in Kuwait across different institutions, she added.
At the end of her statement, Al-Huwailah emphasized that empowering women in Kuwaiti society through the implementation of regulations demonstrates full commitment to gender equity principles, eliminating all forms of discrimination. (end)
