Kuwait Newly Appointed DM Appreciates Leaderships' Confidence

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- Newly appointed Kuwaiti Minister of Defense sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah conveyed Wednesday his appreciation for the trust bestowed upon him by the state's leadership.
He appreciated the confidence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Supreme Commander of the Armed forces, His Highness the crown prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Minister Al-Sabah affirmed his determination to provide an adequate working environment for all ministry personnel to contribute to better readiness and performance.
The Ministry of Defense issued a statement after the Minister met with army top officials.
The next stage requires intensified efforts and teamwork, stated Al-Sabah underlining necessity of cooperation and coordination between military and civilian bodies.
He hailed the work of First Deputy PM and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah when he was serving in office.
Attending the meeting were Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of Army Staff Sabah Jaber Al-Sabah, and other officials. (end)
