Azerbaijan, BSEC Seek Stronger Partnership In Addressing Climate Challenges

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev has met with the Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Lazar Comanescu, Trend reports.

“In the course of the meeting, the prospects of cooperation within the BSEC on climate change, early warning of dangerous weather phenomena, and other issues in this direction were discussed.

At the same time, the sides exchanged views on the results of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which was held in Azerbaijan in 2024,” the information notes.
