Azerbaijani Government To Review Submitted Green Finance Taxonomy For Approval - CBA

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The taxonomy of
green finance will soon be submitted to the government for
approval, the chairperson of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh
Kazimov said at the forum on“Green finance and sustainable
development” held in Baku, Trend
reports.
According to him, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has already approved a roadmap for the development of sustainable finance in early 2023.
"One of the first steps in this direction was the establishment of a taxonomy of green finance. This document is already ready and has been discussed with government authorities, investors, international financial institutions, and industry associations. The taxonomy will soon be submitted to the government for approval," he said.
