Azerbaijan's ASCO Completes Overhaul Of Mammad Suleymanov Geological Exploration Vessel
"During the repair work, the vessel's underwater and surface hull sections, main engine, scow, spire, water-oil coolers, and pipeline systems were cleaned and repaired. Additionally, three new diesel generators, an air compressor, and an oil separator were installed. The crane girder for the lifeboat underwent testing, and the electrical control and lighting systems were also repaired. The living quarters, dining room, sanitary facilities, and rest areas for the crew were refurbished," the company said.
The vessel is designed for geological exploration at sea depths of up to 150 meters.
ASCO currently manages a fleet of over 53 ships for various purposes, along with 150 small service vessels.
