UAE, Morocco finalize historic economic partnership deal


(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco have concluded successful negotiations for a comprehensive economic partnership agreement, marking a significant milestone in their bilateral relations. This historic agreement sets the stage for a new phase of joint economic development, building on the strong fraternal ties between the two nations.

Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Ryad Mezzour, Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade, jointly announced the completion of the talks and the finalization of the agreement’s terms. This partnership aims to enhance economic cooperation across key sectors including tourism, energy, manufacturing, and agriculture, with the goal of fostering long-term prosperity for both countries.

Al Zeyoudi expressed enthusiasm about the agreement, highlighting its importance as part of the UAE's broader strategy to expand its global network of trade and investment partners. He emphasized that the agreement is a strategic addition to the UAE’s international trade agenda and is expected to significantly benefit both nations economically.
