Samer Gerges Promoted To New Director Of Operations For Le Royal Méridien Doha
Doha, Qatar: Le Royal Méridien Doha has announced the promotion of Samer Gerges to Director of Operations, effective June 2024. Samer was previously the Multi-Property Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Royal Méridien Doha and Agora Doha, Autograph Collection.
Samer brings a wealth of experience in hospitality management to this new role. His career began in Lebanon at the Grand Hotel Kadri - Zahle, where he honed his skills in front office and reservations operations. He then climbed the ladder at Marriott International, eventually becoming the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, he oversaw sales and marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of properties, including prestigious names like the JW Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, and the Arraya Ballroom.
