Rescue Worker Injured By Renewed Russian Shelling In Kherson


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Renewed Russian shelling has injured a rescue worker in Kherson who was extinguishing the fire that broke out after a Russian projectile hit a warehouse and dry grass.

That's according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service , Ukrinform reports.

"This afternoon, the occupiers shelled the outskirts of Kherson. A warehouse and dry grass caught fire after being hit by a projectile. Firefighters arrived at the scene and started extinguishing the fire, and the enemy carried out renewed strikes," the post reads.

According to the State Emergency Service, the firefighters were forced to escape to safety and one rescue worker complained of feeling unwell.

The doctors examined the firefighter. According to preliminary data, he had a concussion.
