Turkmenistan Ranks Among Nations With Lowest Diesel Fuel Prices

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 5. Turkmenistan ranks among the ten countries with the most affordable prices for diesel fuel as of June 24, 2024, Trend reports.

According to the Global Petrol Prices (GPP) portal, the cost of diesel fuel in Turkmenistan is $0.0285 per liter.

The country with the cheapest diesel fuel in the world is Venezuela ($0.004 per liter), and the most expensive is Hong Kong ($3,105 per liter).

In addition to Venezuela and Turkmenistan, the list of countries with the least expensive diesel fuel includes Iran, Libya, Angola, Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Ecuador.

Albania, Wallis and Futuna, Israel, Denmark, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the Central African Republic, Monaco, Iceland, and Hong Kong are among the ten countries with the highest prices for diesel fuel.

Meanwhile, differences in diesel fuel prices in different countries are explained by different fuel taxation structures and subsidies.
