Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received today at Lusail Palace, Secretary of State of the United States of America HE Antony Blinken, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, the close strategic relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international developments of common interest, especially developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, and ongoing mediation efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire as well as securing the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
