Ruhollah Latifi, the spokesperson for the trade promotion commission of Iran’s House of Industry, Mine and Trade, revealed that the overall value of non-oil trade with Africa soared to USD54.4 billion during this period.

President Raisi, tragically lost in a helicopter crash on May 19, spearheaded a foreign policy centered on fostering robust relations with African countries, grounded in principles of mutual respect and shared benefits. His administration prioritized expanding economic ties with the African continent, recognizing its strategic significance in Iran's global engagement.

Since assuming office in August 2021, President Raisi championed a fresh foreign policy approach, emphasizing collaboration with neighboring countries, Muslim states, Asian nations, and members of the Non-Aligned Movement.
