Heydar Aliyev Center Park To Host Children's Festival


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. The Children'sFestival will be held at Heydar Aliyev Center Park on June 1,International Children's Day, Trend reports.

The Children's Festival, organized by the Heydar AliyevFoundation, the Heydar Aliyev Center, and the Ministry of Scienceand Education, offers a range of entertainment options tailored tothe interests of children of various age groups, providing themwith opportunities to showcase their talents and enjoy theirleisure time productively.

At the festival, the Center's park will feature themed zonesoffering a variety of engaging and educational programs, makingchildren the focal point of the event.

Participants at the Children's Festival will include children ofheroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation, children fromBaku orphanages, and children with Down syndrome.

A designated stage will host a concert program featuringperformances by talented young individuals, including the "Azeriincileri" dance group, the "Jujalarim" song and dance ensemble fromthe Children and Youth Development Center, students frominstitutions under the Social Services Agency, the "Sama" danceensemble, the "Tabassum" children's musical theater, the "Zirve"dance ensemble, as well as members of Child and Youth DevelopmentCenter No. 3 and Children's Art School No. 3.

The ecological zone, established by the Ministry of Ecology andNatural Resources and the EcoSphere Social Ecological Center, willhost educational programs for children in conjunction with the“Green World Solidarity Year” and the upcoming COP29 event include roundtable discussions, quizzes, and interactivegames on climate change and environmental monitoring, presented inthe pre-COP29 format of a conference. Environmental masterclassestitled“Second Life for Waste” will be conducted, showcasing therole of green energy startups, as well as demonstrations featuringdrones and robots in environmental protection efforts.

Additionally, to promote sports and healthy lifestyles amongyouth, the park will feature sports-related zones. The AzerbaijanTable Tennis Federation will organize table tennis trainingsessions and competitions for children. Chess competitions,football masterclasses, and opportunities to showcase skills andabilities will also be available.

Young visitors will have the chance to transform into theirbeloved characters through the face art zone, where they candecorate themselves as various cartoon characters.

Animated characters will lead children on enchanting adventures,immersing them in a world of fairy tales and entertainment.

In the street art area, children can unleash their creativity bydrawing pictures on the asphalt. The Azerbaijan AutomobileFederation will conduct traffic rule workshops for kids, along witha miniature car rally within the Heydar Aliyev Center park.

Furthermore, the Baku Book Center and the Children's Librarynamed after F. Kocharli will host author meetings and readingsessions, fostering a love for literature among children.

Children will embark on a thrilling adventure at thearchaeological site, engaging in simulated searches and uncoveringvarious models of archaeological artifacts buried beneath the sandfor study.

In the Safari Tour zone, children will journey into the animalkingdom, encountering models of wild animals and participating ininteractive games to learn more about them.

Additionally, a dedicated Playstation zone will cater to theentertainment needs of young visitors.

On International Children's Day, children's health will beprioritized, with Liv Bona Dea Hospital offering free eyeexaminations in the park.

Overall, Heydar Aliyev Center Park will transform into anenchanting and creative space for children to enjoy unforgettablemoments throughout the day.
