CICC 2024 Held At Jinhua Mountain, Zhejiang

which marks the 14th
China Tourism Day,
the
2024 China International Camping Congress
(CICC)
was
grandly
held at
the Danaye Little Iceland on Jinhua Mountain in Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Area, Zhejiang Province, with the theme of
“new fairyland, new equipment, and new mindset.”
Sponsored by the China International Camping Congress
Organizing Committee, this event was organized by Beijing Camping Club Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd., and supported by the Chinese
Senior Sport Association, China
Youth Sports Federation, and All-China Environment Federation.

The opening ceremony of CICC 2024 was attended by representatives from 13 countries and regions including Kazakhstan, Argentina, Brazil, and Nepal, delegates
from 22 provinces and municipalities across China,
camping designers,
experts and scholars
from home and abroad, members from relevant associations
and
renowned investment banks and companies, and media representatives. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia
as well as the Year of China-Malaysia Friendship. During the opening ceremony, the representative from
the Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai
delivered a congratulatory message, expressing hopes for deepening economic and trade cooperation with Jinhua, Zhejiang in the future.

A number of activities were carried out at the opening ceremony, including the launch of China Youth Outdoor Sports Tour
and the Camping Club
Global Supply Chain Equipment Trade
Center, and the signing of the camping industry equipment trading contracts. Notably, the first
initiative of
“No Littering, Beautiful Mountains” for mountain environment
protection
in China was released, and the
first pilot meteorological service
site for mountain camping
in the country was unveiled, impressing all the participants.

“Mountains are gifts from the nature
to which
our hearts
belong. Embracing the mountains is a way of life
while
protecting the mountains is a social responsibility.” In order to further protect mountain ecosystems and promote
civilized camping, the All-China Environment Federation, the (China) Mountain Tourism Alliance, the China International Camping Congress, and the Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Area Management Committee jointly issued the“No Littering, Beautiful Mountains” initiative to the public.

Thanks to its rich camping resources and excellent natural conditions, the camping industry in Jinhua Mountain has flourished in recent years. According to a
research report from the CMA Public
Meteorological Service Center,
Jinhua Mountain boasts
unique meteorological conditions, excelling in various indicators such as climate comfort, low meteorological risks, oxygen balance index, and beautiful sky. With the highest proportion of days with comfortable weather conditions throughout the year, it is a
favorite destination for
camping enthusiasts. At this congress, Jinhua Mountain was officially designated as
China's
first
pilot
meteorological service
site
for mountain camping. By providing
precise meteorological services
for tourism, efforts are being made to enhance the disaster prevention and reduction capabilities and tourism security
of Jinhua Mountain, with a view to improving visitors' experience.

Following the opening ceremony, various sub-events took place, including the China (Jinhua) International Outdoor Camping Equipment Immersive
Experience Exhibition, the China International Camping Industry High-Quality Development Research
and Strategy Conference, and the award ceremony for the China International Cutting-Edge Camping Design Competition.

During the outdoor camping equipment immersive
experience activity held at the Little Iceland, over 100 camping brands and more than 500 product categories were showcased at
independent and comprehensive booths. Guests and visitors had the opportunity to directly observe and experience the latest camping designs, products, and technologies
from both domestic and international renowned equipment manufacturers.

At the China International Camping Industry High-Quality Development Research and Strategy Conference, keynote speeches were delivered by industry experts such as Wang Xiurong, chief meteorological service expert of the
China Meteorological Administration, and Ma Muqing, dean of Beijing Qinglan Culture and Tourism Planning and Design Institute and chief tourism master
planner of the China Academy of Urban Planning Design. They
exchanged views on
the future development trends of the camping industry and the overall prospects for camping industry development.

The CICC is
a national fitness event
guided by the General Administration of Sport of China. As
a mature leisure sports and tourism service platform and provider, it has
organized over 100
events nationwide,
becoming a flagship IP in the domestic camping industry.

The CICC 2024
aims to promote the upgrading
of camping facilities, campsites, and products by gathering innovative talents, professional channels, precise services, and other elements. The establishment of the Camping Club
Global Supply Chain Trade
Center will strengthen the new model of“culture + travel + sports + industry + education,” further supporting Jinhua Mountain as a promoter of civilized camping, a
showcase
for camping equipment, and an innovative trading hub. The center is expected to
integrate into Jinhua's strategic deployment of“building an international hub and advanced
modern
city,” and contribute to the high-quality development of the camping industry in the city.
