Mastercard To Set Up Consulting Group In Azerbaijan In 2024


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Mastercard willestablish a consulting group in Azerbaijan in 2024, Vice Presidentfor Business Development of Mastercard Mehmet Gulez said, during apress conference, Trend reports.

“The significant expansion of our advisory services inAzerbaijan, particularly in 2022 and 2023, has made Azerbaijan theworld's fastest-growing country and the top in terms of advicerevenue consumed by households. As a result of all of this, as aMastercard advisory service, we decided to establish an advisorygroup in Azerbaijan in 2024 and strengthen our investments,” hesaid.

He said Mastercard's objective will be to contribute to thedevelopment and growth of the consulting sector in Azerbaijan everyyear, create new jobs, and bring global knowledge and expertise toAzerbaijan in the best possible way.

“Although this team we will create will initially serve ourclients in Azerbaijan, in the coming years it will also serve allsurrounding countries from Baku,” he added.

Mastercard is an international payment system that providesfinancial services, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards. Itallows its holders to make cashless payments at millions of pointsof sale around the world. Mastercard also provides technologysolutions for banks, merchants, and other financial institutions cards are accepted in many countries and are used for avariety of transactions, including in-store purchases, onlinetransactions, ATM cash withdrawals, and other financialtransactions.
