Ukraine Exports Almost 15M T Of Cargo Via Temporary Sea Corridor - Kubrakov

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) During the five months of the temporary maritime corridor's operation, Ukraine has already exported almost 15 million tons of cargo, including 10 million tons of agricultural products.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration - Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukrinform reports citing the Ministry of Infrastructure.

Kubrakov noted that over the five months of the corridor's operation, 469 new vessels have entered the seaports of Odesa region for loading.

Currently, 39 vessels are being loaded in the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi.

Another 83 vessels have confirmed their readiness to call at the ports and export 2.4 million tons of cargo.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 10, 2023, Ukraine announced new temporary routes for merchant ships sailing to/from Ukraine's Black Sea ports. These routes have been primarily used for the exit of civilian vessels in the Ukrainian ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa, and Pivdennyi that have been in the area since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.
