
Azercosmos Into Cooperation With Azerbaijani State Agency For Renewable Energy Sources
The parties inked a collaboration agreement, according to Azercosmos, under which satellite images will be utilized in initiatives to assess and exploit renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan.
Furthermore, the parties will create a training program for professionals who will be able to share their knowledge and abilities in assessing renewable energy sources.
According to the agency, the use of space technology allows for the rapid and accurate assessment of renewable energy resources and the making of appropriate decisions for their development.
It will prospect to discover optimal areas for the construction of current solar panels and wind turbines, as well as potential obstacles and risks, by studying satellite photos and topographical indications of lands.
