Andrii Kovalov, a spokesman for the General Staff of the armed forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the telethon 'United News', an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"On August 4, during a meeting of the leaders of the so-called 'DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs', the issue of merging this so-called ministry with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs was discussed. 100 percent of civilian employees of the so-called ministry were transferred to the Russian Interior Ministry. More than 90 percent of the officers with special ranks have been re-certified," he said.
According to him, servicemen and civilian employees of the so-called internal troops of the 'DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs' are not being re-certified because they are waiting for a decision on the integration of certain units into the Rosgvardia.
