Ukraine’s top general vents his frustration over counteroffensive criticism

(MENAFN) The commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s military forces has voiced his disappointment over frequent comments by global commentators as well as representatives that the nation`s counteroffensives are taking place too slowly.

In an interview with the Washington Post issued on Friday, General Valery Zaluzhny emphasized that Kiev’s continuing push – which Moscow alleges has been unsuccessful to acquire any ground – is not a sight for the whole globe to appreciate.

“It’s not a show the whole world is watching and betting on or anything. Every day, every meter is given by blood,” he emphasized.

Zaluzhny, who was earlier stated to have been extremely wounded in a Russian warhead attack, also stated that it “pisses [him] off” whenever he overhears that Ukraine’s offensive is stumbling.

The Ukrainian general also restated that without suitable materials, Kiev would not be able to instrument its tactics.
