Finnish Economic Affairs Minister quits following ‘climate abortions’ address

(MENAFN) Finnish Economic Affairs Minister Vilhelm Junnila quit on Friday following an address he had given as a freshman MP reemerged. In the speech, he advised the nation sponsors “climate abortions” for African women so that they can rescue Earth.

“It would be justified for Finland to shoulder its responsibility by promoting climate abortions,” the Finns Party politician stated four years ago, remarking that “Climate abortion would be a small step for a person, but a giant leap for humanity.”

The party is recognized for its antagonism to the concept that Finns should have to drastically substitute their ways of living to battle climate variation as well as claims they already pollute evidently less than their European equals.

Seemingly taking the remarks at par value, Christian Democrat MP Paivi Rasanen blamed Junnila of endorsing an “eco-fascist” ideology even “without the racist connection.” Eco-fascism, she retold her governing alliance partner, is “also an extremist movement.”
