GCC Chief Acclaims Oman's Mediation That Set Free Iranians, Belgians


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, May 26 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Bedaiwi lauded on Friday Oman's mediation efforts between Iran and Belgium that resulted in releasing citizens held by the two countries.
Al-Bedaiwi said in a statement that Oman's good-will efforts led to the release of the Iranians and Belgians kept in the two countries.
The GCC countries advocate peace and stability in the region and the world and has alawys sought to contribute to resolving regional and international issues through diplomacy, he affirmed. (end)
