The research and analysis took place to surface the need for digital transformation in the insurance sector.
The 20 insurance companies' websites were tested across 10 major aspects of digital marketing to uncover how each company's website performed in comparison to their competitors. The report also offers comparative insights against other sectors and provides guidance on how companies in the region can make better use of digital to become more effective.

Almost 75% of customers who attempted to purchase insurance online reported problems. Insurance companies are behind with their digital marketing strategies and aren't getting the best return on investment from their website. The report’s findings reveal the current digital landscape in the sector and highlight the big opportunities that insurance companies in the Middle East are missing out on.
The insurance sector has been exposed for its poor digital maturity. Companies need to adapt or risk leaving potential clients and employees dissatisfied with their online experience. This uncovered the need for companies sector-wide to elevate their digital transformation plans, but have not successfully completed as seen in our completed research.
This gives more digitally agile companies the opportunity to take advantage of this lack of domination in the insurance sector. Companies that become more digitally savvy will be able to accelerate their marketing results rapidly and increase visibility globally.
