The 'Medad' Library Services Platform Launched By ALC

(MENAFN- Asdaf News) The 'Medad' Library Services Platform was introduced by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), a division of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), in order to offer the greatest library user experience and guarantee that it complies with future library standards.

The initiative, which is a part of the ALC's National Reading Month 2023 activities, aims to support the UAE's cultural and knowledge sectors' comprehensive digital transformation by coordinating initiatives with the most cutting-edge technologies currently being used in libraries and the information sector globally.

Stakeholders can take advantage of a variety of digital services, such as creating library memberships, book lending, automatic indexing, electronic searches, access to digital databases, and communication with library specialists, among others, through the“Medad” Library Services Platform and its library services website portal.

Further details on the administration of specialized libraries in particular, as well as general information about the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, are accessible through the platform's website portal.

Visitors can read the most recent news and see the events program. The website will likely have more services in the future.
