Mexico City: Qatar's beach volleyball national team consisting of the duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan - ranked third in the world - ended their participation in the Elite16-Tepic, MEX- 2023 championship in Mexico with the world's best classifiers.
Qatar's beach volleyball duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan played Three matches in the group stage within Group A, which included the Norwegian duo Anders Mol and Christian Sorum ranked first in the world and the Italian duo Nicolai and Cottafava. The team lost their matches in this tournament, which is due to conclude on Sunday.
Led by the distinguished duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games bronze medalist, the Qatari team has achieved many outstanding results in recent years which made the team one of the world's first teams in the world rankings.
