The forum was inaugurated by Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, in the presence of Princess Lolowah bint Faisal Al Saud.

Speaking at the forum, Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani highlighted the role of the Gulf businesswomen in the economic and sustainable development, stressing that the Qatari Wise Leadership has provided great support for the Qatari woman which contributed to her leadership at the global level.

Al Ahmadani also noted that the Gulf woman succeeded in consolidating her position, proving herself, and contributing to the development of society in a real way, indicating that the future will be better, especially since women's view of their role extended the scope of the small family to include the whole community, and even the whole humanity as well.

She highlighted a successful Qatari experiment which is the Education Above All initiative 'EAA', which was founded by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser in 2012 to serve as an umbrella for many programs specialized in providing quality education to communities suffering from poverty or marginalization.

Al Ahmadani assured that the EAA was pioneering and distinguished in terms of using education and harnessing the power of science to bring about positive, sustainable and comprehensive change without intellectual, religious or racial discrimination.

She expressed her sincere appreciation and thanks to Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser for this humanitarian initiative, stressing that the political leadership paved the way for Qatari women to participate in the society and occupy senior positions, which enabled her to truly become an advanced model for sustainable development.

For her part, Qatari businesswoman Nora Al Ansari praised the cooperation between Gulf businesswomen in launching joint initiatives, underscoring the contribution of female entrepreneurs to creating an economic and stimulating society, by focusing on permanent innovation of various goods and services.

She also stressed their roles in encouraging youth to establish their own businesses and teach them how to start their projects in correct ways, and to encourage the community to trust entrepreneurs in providing goods and services that meet their needs with high standards.

Al Ansari also affirmed the role of such initiatives in influencing the quality of business, highlighting the importance of establishing an integrated platform that brings together Gulf women entrepreneurs to explore cooperation vistas and benefit from various experiences.
